The mine is located in Arizona and the sylhoette shape of the mountain where the mine is located resembles Sleeping Beauty laying asleep waiting for her Prince Charming to come and kiss her awake. That is why it is called Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, how romantic is that! . Sadly the mine is now depleted and it has closed. This Turquoise is so very sought after and now quite rare.
